We wish everyone a wonderful New Year and look forward to a successful second semester. As we start the second semester, we would like to remind everyone of the importance of attendance. Please ensure that your student is on time for school and here for the entire day. This allows them to get the most from their instructional time with their teachers. The consistency and routine supports learning and promotes student self-esteem and success. January 14th 8:40 a.m. Media Center Marlowe’s Student Support Team will be offering the next “It Takes a Village To Raise A Child” breakfast series on January 14th from 8:40 – 9:20 a.m. in the Media Center. We will be throwing a New Year Party. Starting the Year Off Right with Reading, Math and Technology strategies for home. Light refreshments will be provided. Join us for this informative and entertaining look at parenting. Free take home materials will be provided. S.T.E.M. Family Night January 28th 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm SKATE NIGHT January 21st 6:30 pm-8:30pm Spinnations Skate Center Come out for a fun night of skating! The class with the most present will win a pizza party at the skating rink! Pre-Sale Tickets are $5.00. The price at the door is $6.00. Non-skating parents are free. Pre-Sale tickets will be on sale January 19th – 21st in the mornings outside the front office. This is a family event and students must be accompanied with an adult. Students cannot be dropped off. Join us for an interactive, fun hands on night for our 3rd, 4 and 5th grade families. See first hand the concepts and elements of the S.T.E.M Fair project that your students will be working on during this quarter. th PARENT INFORMATION BOX TOPS Keep up the great work of bringing in those box tops. The class that can collect the most box tops from December 1st to January 29th will win a classroom surprise! By saving your General Mills box tops, you can help our school. Your child's attendance patterns often have a direct link with achievement.
