Log on to the DEA network
Open a web browser
Go to http://10.121.76.171/par/map.aspx
A welcome screen is displayed
5. Click on “Continue” to close the popup window
ATTRIBUTE TABLE
1. The Attribute Table will be open when the user open the map viewer showing only the Protected
Areas attribute table
2. All Declared Protected Areas, Farms and Farm Portions that area switched on in the layer list
will show in the Attribute table tabs. Please make sure that you are zoomed and that Farms
and Farm Poritons display for records to show in the attribure tables
3. Switch only one or two layers on in the Layer list to restrict the amount of attribute tables showing in
the Attribute table tabs
4. Select a record in the Attribute table. Check that the area is highlighted on the map

5. Click on Export the attributes to a CSV file and save the file to a folder
6. Click on Zoom to selected Features. Make sure that at least one feaure is selected
7. Click on Clear selection to clear the selection that was made in the attribute table
8. Click on all the Attribute Table Tabs to view the tables
9. Click on the Collapse Panel button to minimize of view the attribute table

BASEMAPS
1. Click on the Basemap button located on the map
2. From the dropdown box select a different Basemap that should be displayed
FIND COORDINATES
1. From the map tool bar click on the Find Coordinates
to open the XY-Coordinates window
2. Enter XY-coordinates in the “Enter the coordinates” window and click on the “Locate” button
3. The map will zoom to the XY-coordinate and show the location as shown below
4. In the Coordinates window select the “Zoom to” button to zoom in further
5. In the Enter the coordinate’s window click on the Delete result
to clear the entered coordinates
6. Minimize the window using the minimize button
7. Close the window using the Close button

IDENTIFY
1. Click on the Identify button
to select the tool
2. Click in the map on the point that you want information for
3. The Identify Result tab in the Identify window will show all features that were found at that point
4. Hover over one of the identified records to view the location of the record
5. Click on the Zoom to button to zoom to the spatial extent of the area
6. Minimize the window using the minimize button
7. Close the window using the Close button
LATITUDE & LONGITUDE
1. Using the mouse pan around the map display area and check if the Latitude and Longitude values
change

LAYER LIST
1. Click on the Layer List button
in the tool bar to open the layer list AND
2. Click on the More button in the map
3. Switch layers on and off to draw by selecting the check box
4. Click on the Layer window dropdown button to access additional layer functionality
5. Select the Zoom to option to zoom to the layer
6. Select the Transparency option to change the transparency for the layer
7. Use the Transparency bar to change the level of transparency
8. Move the position of the layer in the list (e.g. draw one layer on top or behind the another layer)

LEGEND
1. Click on the Legend button
to open the Legend window
2. The Legend window should only show layers that are currently displayed on the map

Use the scroll bar to scroll up and down to view all layers
Move the window by dragging it to a new position

NAVIGATION TOOLS:
1. Click on one of the Pan up/down/side buttons
from the navigation toolset. The map will move
towards the option that was selected. Note that the user can move in eight directions N, NE, E, SE, S,
SW, W and NW

6. Click on Print to print the map
SCALE
1. Zoom in and check if the Scale value changes
SEARCH FARM
1. Click on the Search button
to select the Search tool
2. Type the farm name or part of the farm name or SG Code in the search box. Click on Search to search
for records
3. In the Search Farm result tab hover over a record to view its location on the map
4. Use the scroll bar to scroll up and down to view all searched results
5. Minimize the window using the minimize button
