Texas Pubic Pool Council is dedicated to providing
information and education to aquatic professionals.
TEXAS PUBLIC POOL COUNCIL
The Texas Public Pool Council Aquatic Special Event of the year Award is given to the agency that
best demonstrates:


A significant impact on the youth and families of their local community through arts, crafts,
games, entertainment and fun.
Successful implantation of an innovative existing or new program
This award will be given to an agency that is recognized by the Texas Public Pool Council as having
demonstrated effective, quality entertainment programming. The awards committee of the Texas
Public Pool Council will choose the winner of the award. The TPPC Aquatic Special Event of the
Year will be presented during the TPPC business meeting at the annual conference. Submit all
applications to the address below by December 1st.

impacts the youth and families of your community. Please state the goals of the program.

reasons for starting the program? Was the program adapted to meet special populations
(ADA)?
 What was the overall impact of the program and why do you think that this program
deserves recognition?
 Please share the criteria for deeming this program successful.
