Beginning Monday January 9th Youth Ministry meetings will meet in the Parish
Office Center / Parish Residence Building. All youth arriving should arrive
through the front MAIN doors off of Harvard. Someone is in the office to buzz
you in. Our NEW meeting room will be in the lower level!
January 9th New Beginnings – Join us to help set up the new youth room – this will involve
heading to the old room for boxes and items we may wish to bring over with us. We will bless
our new door and room. And talk about topics and activities you would like for 2017!
Saturday January 14th : MLK Day in the D! a day of service all those registered meet at the Fr.
Landry Center to load the coats in the cars and vans. Meet at 8:15 promptly so we can be to
Sacred Heart by 9AM! For our day of service. I will pass out permission slips on Monday the 9th.
January 16th : Wintery Blues Topic Night: “Depression” God is with us no matter how we feel
and HE cares. No judgement!
We will end the evening with a Confirmation retreat brainstorming session & small group
selection
January 23rd – Game night in our new digs!
January 30th – Confirmation Retreat prep: Small group room planning night
All teen leaders need to attend tonight! This will be the first official brainstorming and
organizing night for small group room themes and sessions!
February 6th – Topic/Discussion Night
February 13th – The Virtue of Love & Valentines Celebration
February 20th – No meeting Mid-Winter Break
February 27th – Confirmation Prep night – skits and icebreaker planning session
All teen leaders need to attend tonight! This will be the second official brainstorming and
organizing night for large group activities, skits, and retreat organization!
March 6th – Pizza party and Lenten Topic Night
March 13th and 20th – Confirmation Prep nights
All Confirmation teen leaders need to attend this evening of planning and organization finalize
your details and presentations – practice sessions and more!!
CONFIRMATION RETREAT WEEKEND
Friday – March 24th through Sunday March 26th Confirmation Retreat Weekend!
Arrive Friday at 6:30 PM – Dismissal Sunday following Residence Clean Up!
Monday March 27th – Take a Break!!! No Meeting
April 3rd Spring Break Movie Night

Join us for a personal reflection night as we head into Holy Week
