Yes / No Yes / No Have you completed a Safeguarding Yes / No Children course in the last 3 years The positions on the Wiltshire RA-FA Youth Council are: Role Chair Secretary and Media Female Refereeing Promoting the RA and working with local Description of role Lead and inspire the WRAFAYC team to deliver the annual delivery plan. Represent the WRAFAYC on the Wilts FA Youth Council Increase the awareness and promote the good, positive work of the Youth Council. To send out agendas and take minutes and deal with correspondence and other administrative matters. To raise the awareness of the WRAFAYC profile by creating a social media circle. Working with the WFA Media and Marketing Officer to promote the WRAFAYC on through other media outlets and Wiltshire footballing events. To co-ordinator any WRAFAYC event that the Council plans to arrange. To promote female refereeing and the women’s pathway. To work with the Wiltshire Women’s and Girls League to encourage more female youth players to become referees. To work with the local RA branches to encourage more young referees to become members of the branches RA and to attend RA meetings and events. Referee Development – Moving into the Adult Game Referee Development Training Referee Recruitment RESPECT Officer To work with the local adult and youth leagues to create a smooth pathway for referees who want to move into the adult game, which offers support to any referee who wants to take this pathway. To work with the WFA and the local RA on how to develop effective training programmes that will help and support younger referees. To establish initiatives to attract young people aged 16-25 years into refereeing and how to support new referees over their first 5 games. To work with local youth leagues to promote the RSPECT agenda and look to development initiatives to raise the parental awareness of issue.
