Ever fancied yourself as the next reigning champ of the UK’s National Board Games
Championships 2017? Well sign up fast and be in with the chance of taking home
a stack of board games, an exclusive pork pie trophy, Pork Farms’ merchandise
and the grand title of this traditional event!
If you are interested in taking part in the UK’s National Board Games Championships
and would like to play in the heats here at your local micropub, please fill in
your details below and simply come along any time in between
Sunday, 26th February to Sunday, 26th March 2017.
Ask behind the bar for the board games, scoring sheets and rules and
get your stop watch at the ready!

Before the Heats
• Place your posters and leaflets in
prominent places e.g. window, behind
the bar, scattered on tables.
• Make sure you have received your board
games bundle. If you have any issues
regarding delivery or fail to receive
please email [email protected].
• Pin up your sign up list behind the bar or
in a prominent place to generate interest.
• Get involved with social media activity
ahead of the heats. Like the Pork Farms

The Heats
• Ensure each participant has a score
sheet and a copy of the Board Games
Championships game rules to follow.
• Make sure players complete the
score sheet with contact details in
case they get through to next round
of the championships.
• Ensure you are aware of rules and
scoring mechanism before the heats
commence. Contact us via email to
[email protected] or on 01257
262498 if you have any questions.
• Take high resolution pictures (1mb and
above) of the players, where possible and
ask players to fill out their name, details
and permission for use of images in press
and publicity which can be found on the
individual player’s score sheet.
• Ensure all participants know that if they
are the heat winner they will need to be
available to travel to the grand final on the
13th May 2017 (location to be confirmed)
*all finalist travel and accommodation
expenses will be covered.*
After the Heats
• At the end of the heats round
(26th February - 26th March 2017)
collate your top 5 players, scores and
contact details and send via email
to [email protected].
• Make sure to send through high
resolution pictures (1mb and above)
of the top 5 players via email to
[email protected]. If there are
multiple pictures of high resolution
quality, please send via
wetransfer.com – please contact
Charlotte at KRPR if assistance
is needed.
