Final application deadline is February 15, 2017 to apply for a work period from August 1 until September 30 at ARTCEB in
2017. The residency is full-time, a continuous period. The participant is personally responsible for transporting the works in
the last week of the residency.

Explanatory notes to the
Application form AIR project 2017
Conditions
 Complete the form in block letter in black or blue ink
or complete it on the computer.
 The work plan must be in English or Dutch.
 Before sending the application form, make sure it
has been completed in full and is accompanied by
images and a work plan.
 Do not send us any other additional information,
such as catalogues, folders, brochures etc.
Additional information will not be included in the
selection nor sent back to the applicant.
 If you are admitted or not, the documentation
becomes property of ARTCEB.
The documentation will not be returned.
ARTCEB
is not liable for damage or loss to

documentation received.
 If your application is not complete or in
compliance with these conditions, we regret that we
cannot deal with it.

Please mark the box of the kind of residency you

2. Personal details
Your personal information will only be used
by ARTCEB for internal use and to keep you
informed of the activities by the centre.
3. Discipline
Mark the box of your discipline. This is important to
ARTCEB for planning purposes so that the preferred
diversity of disciplines, experience and backgrounds
can be obtained. ARTCEB categorizes participants
as visual artist, performer, sculptor, ceramist,
designer, painter, and others.
4. Education / experience
Experience training course(s), exhibitions, projects
and publications that in your view are relevant to
your present activities.
7. Enclosures to accompany the application form
The application form and the requested
documentation, work plan and images, should be
sent simultaneously. Do not send any additional
information, such as catalogues, brochures or
folders. If your application is not complete, we regret
that we cannot deal with it. Please check if all
enclosures are included before sending in the
application form.
7a Work plan
A brief explanation or motivation and workplan
concerning the residency in relation to present work
plus a visual print or drawing to support your plan.
Only when applying for the Residency for Young
Participants: two written references are required.
7b Images
ARTCEB prefers to receive digital images:
 Max. 10 images are required.
 The images must clearly show a development over
the past 3 to 4 years
 Preferably images of individual works, but no more
than 3 views / details per work.
 The files must be in JPEG-format
(maximum 800 x 600 pixels)
 The title of the digital images must contain your
surname, the year and a number in chronological
order (for example: Wens 2016_01.jpg)
corresponding to the image list (starting with the
most recent work)

9. Payments
A registration fee of € 15.00 is due upon enrollment.
Please transfer the relevant fee to our account stating
”AIRP Suriname”. To keep the transaction fee as low
as possible, we request you to make the payment by
bank or PayPal.
5. Language
ARTCEB is an international organization where
reciprocal communication about the work is an
important aspect. Dutch and English are the
official languages.
6. Residency
The activities have a full-time character unless
otherwise agreed in advance. The participant is
personally responsible for transporting the works in the
last week of the residency. After consultation we can
see how we can help.
