Acquired funds via annual Carryout Chicken Barbecue Dinner on the last Sunday of September. (31st year) 2. Acquired funds via annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa Claus on the first Sunday of December. (47th year) 3. Provided the local food pantry with canned goods, grocery items and cash. (42nd year) 4. Provided annual chartering expenses for 1 Varsity Scout Troop, 1 Boy Scout Troop and 2 Cub Scout Packs. (60th year) 5. Sponsored Bloodmobile visits and provided food and refreshments to donors. (36th year) 6. Sponsored annual Easter Egg Hunt. (52nd year) 7. Provided Random Lake High School scholarships. (34th year) 8. Provided eye exams/eyeglasses to all who have requested our assistance. (65th year) 9. Provided a significant contribution to the Friends of the Random Lake Joint Community Library. (23rd year) 10. Provided significant contributions to: Diabetes Foundation, Wisconsin Lions Foundation, Youth Exchange Programs, Leader Dog, Special Olympics, Lions International Foundation, Wisconsin Badger Camp, Random Lake Fire & Ambulance Dept., Random Lake Area Historical Society, Random Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Silver Creek Fire Dept., Bridgeway and Project Kenya. 11. Collected and redistributed for use - hundreds of discarded eyeglass lenses and hearing aids, and support and contribute to the vision screening program. 12. Our “SCOUT BUILDING” program has resulted in the addition of kitchen facilities, rest rooms, and exterior improvements to — what used to be — an abandoned town hall building.
