Context Make a general presentation of the collection(s) at stake and the management, conservation and valorisation issues of this (these) collection(s). Underpin the issues the project is seeking to address. 3.2. Project purpose Describe the global objective and specific objectives of the project. 3.3. Foreseen Activities Present the operational consistency and the concrete activities that would be pursued in keeping with the objectives. 3.4. Expected results and deliverables For every specific objective, present the expected concrete results and deliverables, as well as the adapted and ascertainable success and measurement indicators that could help evaluate the project at its end. Underline the expected impact of the collection’s project in terms of: i) the improved accessibility for scientists (virtual or in real life), ii) attendance iii) entrenchment beyond the project duration and iv) possible integration in a national, regional or international network. 3.5. Brief presentation of the project team Briefly present everyone’s role in the project achievement. In case of any partnership between several institutions, detail the respective responsibilities in this achievement and provide elements proving the relevance of the partnership. 4- IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE Define the development over time of the project activities (a provisional timetable is suggested). The calendar must clearly present the dates of deliverables’ restitution. SEP2D: Application form – 4th call for project: Collections 3 5- PROVISIONAL BUDGET Use the frame of the Excel sheet proposed in the attached file to inform the total expected expenditures, as well as the provisional expenses for each partner. Justify in a narrative form the major expenses items (1 page maximum). For any material expenses above 5.000 euros, please attach three quotation to the application form. 6- ANNEXES 6.1. List of literature reference or publications This list could include books or publications that have been achieved with the support of the collection concerned by the project (herbaria/ botanical garden) such as flora, atlas, information or popularisation supports, etc. 6.2. A summarized project presentation This summarized presentation of 10 to 15 lines maximum must be written for communication purpose. It could be used to present the project for institutional communication, in case the project would be financed by the SEP2D programme. 6.3. Valorisation works of the collection(s): present the projects led the last 10 years that aimed at improving the management, the conservation, the preservation or the valorisation of the collections concerned by the project. In case of scientific publication, ensure to underline the name(s) of the member(s) of the team applying. 6.6. Consent to the form disclosure The consent letters (one per organisation) must be written on official letterhead papers and must be signed by the team leader or the head of the service, then be covered by the head of the institution. They must summarize: - The activities in the project that the team is committing to accomplish - The relations and the data/skills/technologies transfer the team is committing to accomplish in favour of other partners (if any) involved in the project - Its contribution to the project total budget, in-kind or in-cash. These commitment letters must be signed by the leader of each team involved in the project, then covered by the head of their respective host institution. More than an agreement of supervisory authorities, this statement is intended to express their commitment to support every aspects of the project implementation (key resource people, equipment, students mentoring, etc.) 6.8.
