Previous Winnings
Tina began her riding career at the age of four with a 12.2hh pony called Rocky. With him she competed
at the Welsh Championships, Area Pony Club eventing, Area Pony Club show jumping and the Prince
Philip Cup.
For a while Tina had her own yard but started to ride for Fred Welch after taking a difficult horse to him
for advice. She then moved to Fred Brown’s yard in Yorkshire. In 1991,
she was 2nd in the Hickstead Derby followed by enormous success on the North American circuit
winning the $33,000 Masters in Toronto.
