2017 State Show RUNNING Work Schedule

2017 State Show RUNNING Work Schedule
Arena and Back Area Assignments
Each Association will be assigned a specific place to work and will be responsible for that location
through the entire show. The HOST Association will work the points table the entire show and the
remaining two positions will be rotated among the other clubs.
These assignments are needed ALL DAY. It is up to the local Association how they divide their
workers (ex – 1, 1 ½, 2 or so hours each) but you must have a worker for your Association in the
Arena / Gate areas continuously.
Associations will rotate in the same order as Hosting.
Association One - Host association will work the end position in the arena for poles and cones only.
(will be responsible for aligning props)
Associations Two (next year’s host), Three and Four - Work inside arena setting up props.
NOTE: The following assignments for Associations, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten will be
altered some once we are there and see how the new setup in the back is designed. We will still need
the workers and determine on Friday what changes need to be made, if any. BE FLEXIBLE
Association Five - Work with the Grounds Manger / Tractor Drivers on any assistance they may need
(ex: gates) This may change depended on location of the tractors. During POLE AND CONE events,
this worker will ALSO move into the arena to assist with props.
Association Six - Work the Exit gate (gate at the back of the running chute leaving the facility)
Association Seven – Work gate between running pen and running chute.
Association Eight – Work gate between running pen and holding pen
Associations Nine and Ten – Work back gate (check in gate). It is these workers responsibility to
check the riders in and assure they are in compliance with dress code. (this may change but is
currently set up to assist the new Association in learning)
Points Table Schedule
This schedule has been altered to add the 10th Association.
