• Thank you, Prof. Li Liang, for your and the university’s strong
support to the Symposium.
• Representing the international organizing committee, we also
thank you for the interest and the support from,
– all the participants, all the contributors
– and, not least, the enthusiasm of the local hosts.
Without your support, this Symposium can not be successful.
• The symposium was originated in Hiroshima in 1993 by Prof.
Takashi Ohsugi together with the members of IOC,
– to bring experts of semiconductor tracking detectors together from
around the world to discuss and to stimulate each other.
• This is the 10th of the series, another anniversary!, and 22
years since the 1st Symposium.
