The Deep end is 24’ x 25’ (8’ depth)

If City Purchases the Pool
If purchased, the transaction will between Ole Swimmin’ Hole and City of Perry with
assistance from HNB Bank.
The City would need to hire a Pool Manager, 4 Lifeguards (2 Lifeguards must be on duty
while pool is open for business)
Occupancy at one time:
Possibility of Daily Passes and Rental in evening for Pool Parties
Swimming Lessons and Aquatic Exercise classes
A slide may be possible but our insurance will not allow a Diving Board
If City Purchases the Pool
Staffing Costs for 8 Hours Per Day
Example Only:
3 Lifeguards at Minimum Wage and 1 Pool Manager at $10.00 hour
If open from Memorial Day to Labor Day (99 days) the total cost for lifeguards &
pool manager at 28 hours each per week for 14.14 weeks: $13,045.00
To Break Even Per Day to Pay Staff: 44 persons ($3.00 per entry)
To Break Even for the Year to Pay Lifeguards You would need 4,356 paid entries.
