Features
The AO 6008 Audio Output Unit is an 8-channel digital to analog audio converter designed for the DCS 6000 Digital Conference System. It is used as the D/A converter
for analog language distribution systems, such as infrared or wired transmission
systems, tape- or hard disk recorders etc.
The AO 6008 has the following standard features:
Each AO 6008 unit provides decoding for up to 8 language channels with 8 analog
transformer-isolated XLR outputs. The unit connects anywhere to the DCS-LAN, the
same as any other DCS 6000 unit.
The AO 6008 provides set up of the desired languages and volume settings, read
error status, load/save settings and allows viewing of information about the unit. It is
controlled using the buttons and display on the front of the unit or by sending commands and reading status from the DIS-CCU Central Control Units via a PC.

• Inputs/Outputs 2 I/O RJ45 chain loop through connections to
the DCS LAN.
