Beijing Capital Intl. Airport is the major cargo hub for airfreight in North China.
BAWL initiated import trucks to the final destination in Beijing. For all destinations
the road feeder service can be organized on demand.

1.3 Truck-Container Measurements:
1)2tons: Length: 4.20m, Width: 1.80m, Height: 1.90m.
2)5tons: Length: 6.50m, Width: 2.30m, Height: 2.30m, or Length:7.30m, Width:2.30m, Height:2.30m.
3)8tons: Length: 8.00m, Width: 2.30m, Height: 2.30m.
4)10tons: Length: 9.60m, Width: 2.50m, Height: 2.50m.
5)20tons: Length: 12.50m, Width: 2.30m, Height: 2.30m, or Length:13.00m, Width:2.50m, Height:2.95m.
1.4 Special Cargo Acceptance
1.4.1 Oversized general cargo
Over sized general cargo should be sent out from origin station after having got the booking confirmation
from BAWL.
Over sized cargo booking procedure:
1) Booking to BAWL have to be made three working days prior to flight departure；
2) After receiving booking information, BAWL apply for transshipment by bonded open truck in
customs a.s.a.p.；
3) BAWL gets approval of customs and booking confirmed to the customer airline in less than two
working days ；
4) Flight departures from origin station.

1.4.2 Other Special Cargo
Other special cargo shall be arranged individually.Please contact BAWL for further information
about rates and booking.
1.5 Charges Calculation, Additional Fees

Truck transfer charges and handling charges are calculated according to "Chargeable Weight".
Charges for rental of lifting equipment for cargo with weight over 5tons should be at the cost of the
customer.

2.2 Booking Prerequisites
The Beijing office of the customer airline is responsible of booking the transshipment
Following Cut-off Times have to be observed:
1) General Cargo (except Oversized Cargo) Booking Cut-off Time, 12 hours prior to STD of the truck
flight or as mutually agreed.
2) Special Cargo Booking Cut-off Time,48 hours prior to STA of the incoming flight or as mutually
agreed. Special Cargo should only be forwarded from origin station after receiving the booking
confirmation from BAWL.
3) Delivery Cut-off Time, 3 hours prior to truck departure or as mutually agreed.
This Transshipment Information will updated every three months and whenever a new destination is
