Network Change:
This is a revision to the ATT20090107L.2 Network Disclosure which was a revision to the
ATT20081218L.3 Network Disclosure. Due to delays in installation and related projects. The
implementation dates for this project must be moved out – see the new dates in the “Location of Change”
section below. This disclosure is a Network Access Services decommission of tandem (LSANCA0470T)
4ESS tandem and the rehoming of traffic to (LSANCA0398T) Nortel CS2000 switch.
Description of Type of Changes Planned:
The Los Angeles, California, LSANCA0470T 4ESS tandem serving LATA 730 has been scheduled for
decommissioning by July 29, 2011. All carriers, (Independent LECs, Wireless Service Providers,
CLECs, Interexchange Carriers and IP-enabled Voice Information Service (IP-VIS) providers) that have
trunking to this tandem will be affected by this change. All carriers need to move their traffic to the Los
Angeles, California, LSANCA0398T Nortel CS2000 switch between October 2010 and Jun 2011.

No AT&T end offices are homed on LSANCA0470T; it services carrier traffic only.

Description of Reasonably Foreseeable Impact of the Planned Changes:
LSANCA0398T was added to the network in 2000 as the relief switch for LSANCA0470T and is now
the replacement tandem. Most carriers already have trunking to LSANCA0398T which serves
primarily the downtown Los Angeles area. Carriers should use the Tandem Homing Plan to identify
the Rate Areas served by LSANCA0398T. The Tandem Homing Plan is available on the CLEC
Online web site, https://clec.att.com/clec/ or the AT&T Prime Access web site,
https://primeaccess.att.com/.
