Positive reviews for Banks Beer in plastic continue
BANKS BEER’S new plastic bottle continues to receive positive reviews from the
Barbadian public.
Patrons at the Carib Beach Bar last Sunday were the latest group to voice their views on the
new packaging. PowerXFour Band Leader Chetwin Stewart said, “The plastic alternative is a
good idea. I like the fact that this package allows you to disseminate the beer quicker. I am
looking forward to experiencing these benefits myself during Crop Over.”
Corporate Manager Maurice Grant noted, “Unfortunately, in today’s society bottles become
weapons. Banks’ plastic package provides a ‘safer’ alternative.”
Bar staff have also expressed satisfaction with the new package. Carib Beach Bar Duty
Manager Jan Lashley said, “Banks in plastic has made my job easier. Now when I am serving
a Banks, all I have to do is pull the beer from the cooler and serve it to the customer. It also
saves time because I do not have to open the beers or pour them into a cup. In addition,
when the bar is really busy and I have to pull several beers at once, I don’t have to worry
about one slipping out of my hands and breaking. If it drops, all I have to do is pick it up!”
