Teaching and Learning Responsibility Payments 2013
From 1 September 2013
(a) the annual value of a TLR 1 must be no less than
£7397 and no greater than £12517;
(b)the annual value of a TLR 2 must be no less than
£2561 and no greater than £6259;
(c) if the relevant body awards TLRs of different annual
values to two or more teachers, the minimum difference
in the annual value between each award of a TLR1 is
£1500 and between each award of a TLR2 is £1500.
(d)The relevant body may award a fixed term TLR3 for
clearly time-limited school improvement projects or
one off externally driven responsibilities. The annual
value of a TLR3 must be no less than £505 and no
greater than £2525.
Special education needs allowance 2013
An SEN allowance of no less than £2022 and no more
than £3994 per annum is payable in accordance with the
School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document 2013.
