Leyton Carnival
Parking Restrictions and Road Closures
During the Leyton Carnival, temporary restrictions will be in place for access of the carnival and the safe
procession of the floats between 1:00pm and 3:00pm on Saturday 1st July 2017.
The Carnival will leave Leyton Cricket Club and head towards Leyton High Road. Once at Adelaide Road it
will head towards Leyton Football Club, along Oliver Road. Once through this section the carnival will head
east on Church Road and finish back at the rear of Leyton Cricket Club on Brewster Road.

Parking will be prohibited in the following parts of

You are able to park on the even side between 90
Adelaide Road and the edge of Leyton Mini
Market.
This enforcement will be between 11:00am and
4:00pm on Saturday 1st July 2017. Any vehicle
remaining within the prohibited area may receive a Penalty Charge Notice and be towed away. Signs will be
in position at the enforced areas.
One Way – Adelaide Road
One section of one way working will be reversed for the duration of the carnival.
Parking will be prohibited on Brewster Road along the section adjacent to the park to allow for costumes and

participants to off load from the procession vehicles. This enforcement will be in between 11.00am and
4:00pm on Saturday 1st July 2017. Any vehicle remaining within the prohibited area may receive a Penalty

Road Closures – High Road Leyton, Adelaide Road, Oliver Road and Church Road
The roads listed above will be closed to all traffic on a rolling road closure system between 1.00pm and
3.00pm depending on where the carnival is on the route.
Road Closures – Francis Road, Jesse Road, Crawley Road, Brewster Road, Dawlish Road, Vicarage
Road, Lindley Road, Sedgwick Road, Windsor Road, Balmoral Road, Murchison Road, Osborne
Road, Tyndall Road, Huxley Road, Brisbane Road, Sidmouth Road, Lyttelton Road, St Marys Road,
Dunedin Road, Leyton Park Road, Osier Way, Alpine Road, Thornhill Road, Walnut Road, Inskip
Close, Dene Close, Rosedene Terrace, Grange Park Road and Tennyson Road
The roads listed above will be closed to all traffic heading on to the carnival procession route. Where
possible, you will be able to exit the road at the opposite end, as long as it does not lead onto the procession
route shown above.
