ROCKY TIES UMARY 3-3
The Battlin’ Bears of Rocky Mountain College would tie the UMary Marauders 3-3 this evening in
Bismarck, ND. Junior forward Oliver Gore (Stafford, England) tied the game in the 81st minute of play,
placing the ball into the empty net after good work by Brandon Loeffler (Butte, MT). Gore would open
the scoring for Rocky early in the first half, volleying home from a Nick Heffernan (Brighton, England)
corner kick. Heffernan would also score for Rocky in what was a entertaining game. Rocky outshot the
Marauders by a total of 27 – 18.
“We look very good going forward right now but are giving up to many opportunities in the back.
Looking forward to having a full week of practice to try and correct some of these mistakes.” Said Head
