Insert a 5/64” allen key into hole for the adjustment screw. For FL and SPADE models remove adjustment plug at top and insert allen key For Integral Deutsch, insert allen key through adjustment hole All TAS switches are shipped set to the high side of the temperature range. For proper adjustment, the TAS temperature switch must be brought to the required set point temperature either in the application or a temperature bath. If using a temperature bath, the sensing bulb, threaded connection and one half to three quarters of the hex must be submerged in the fluid. After soaking unit at temperature, rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise until the switch sets (signals) Then rotate the adjustment screw clockwise until the unit resets, noting the amount of rotation. Again rotate the adjustment screw counter-clockwise until the switch signals, then turn it back ½ the amount of the noted rotation Check for set point accuracy. Make minor adjustments as required. NOTE: The amount of rotation required to fine tune the set point is minimal.
