30-Day Accumulated Reintegration Event
• Both Service Members and Families prefer one-on-one
classes rather than PowerPoint
– Briefings are currently acceptable, but those presenters that
include group participation score consistently higher on
surveys
– Requested information includes employment, employment
benefits, MIRF, dental, education, GI Bill, and disability
– Bring materials to fill out and stand by for questions rather
than provide a number to call and jet out the door (i.e.
personal touch)
• Separate breakouts for individual topics with option to
visit only those that interest

YRRP 2
30-Day Accumulated Reintegration Event
(cont.)
• There is a very little variation between the scores for
specific briefings and specific briefers (less than 5% of
total score).
• Briefing length continues to be an issue so long as the
event consists solely of PowerPoint presentations.
• Those briefers that provide actual materials and support
rather than simply a phone number to call score
consistently higher (3.75 for ESGR vs. 3.91 for the VA) on
surveys.
