A Coaches deposit ($150 - Football / $100 - Cheer) must be submitted if you are approved. No personal checks are accepted.
Payment must be made within one week after you are notified of approval. If no payment is received, your approval will be
rescinded. Your $150 (Football)/ $100 (Cheer) deposit will be refunded to you at the end of the season unless you are accepted and
approved as a Head Coach for the following year. If you or your Coaching Staff is fined, you must submit the amount of the fine
immediately and prior to the following scheduled game or you will not be allowed to coach. Please refer to SYFL policy at
the bottom of this application for additional information.

It is SYFL policy not to assume the responsibility of fines acquired by the coaching staff. Do you commit to being responsible

SUMMARY OF RULES
1. All Head Coaches shall abide by the “By-Laws of Bay Area Seminoles Organization and SYFL” and the
BASO and SYFL Coaching ethics at all times when acting as a Coach for BASO. Head Coaches shall
enforce the by-laws and ethics with their staff.
2. All Head Coaches shall assume the responsibility for all equipment issued from BASO and shall return
all such equipment at the end of the season.
3. You will not be allowed to participate as a Head Coach if you owe BASO any equipment or money
from past season.
4. It is mandatory that every Head Coach MUST participate in ALL BASO fundraisers.
5. It is mandatory that every Head Coach MUST attend ALL mandatory meetings, workshops, trainings,
etc.
6. All Head Coaches will participate in the playoffs and will assist in others when needed.
7. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be allowed by the Head Coaches or anyone affiliated with his/her
team at any time. Any acts considered unsportsmanlike conduct may result in a disciplinary action
being taken (e.g. suspension, fine, etc.).
8. All Head Coaches shall make their best effort to resolve all disagreements between other Coaches,
Parents, Players, Official, and BASO officer(s).
9. All Head Coaches and staff members shall abide by the “BASO Social Media Policy “of BASO and
SYFL”. I understand this policy aims to provide some guiding principles to follow when using social
media platforms regarding BASO. I the Head Coaches shall share and enforce the policy and ethics with
their staff.
Having read the above “Summary of Rules”, and having received a current copy of the
“BASO and SYFL Rules” and Coaching Ethics,
