HOVERJACK
 Air Assisted Lift
 Used for patient fall recovery
 Hoverjack + Hoverpump + Hovermatt
 Weight capacity of 1200 lbs.
Simple Steps
 Close Red Caps
 Place underneath patient (include Hovermatt) via log
rolling patient.
 If patient in location that Hoverjack will not have room to
inflate, place under patient and before inflating, pull patient
to more open area, then inflate.
 Secure patient using safety straps
 Inflate Hoverjack Chambers in order 1,2,3,4
 Use Hoverpump BROWN button 50
Lateral Transfer Using FRDs
 Max Inflate bed
 Bed must be slightly lower than Hoverjack
 Secure patient using safety straps
 Connect Hose to the Hovermatt
 Conduct Lateral Transfer to bed/gurney
Hoverjack After Used
 Clean with Sanitary Wipes while Inflated
 Carefully release RED CAPS – STAY ON THE SIDE!!

Friendly Reminders
 While inflating chambers KEEP AN EYE ON THE
SAFETY STRAPS!
 Do not release RED CAPS while patient is on the
Hoverjack
 If possible, move bed instead of the Hoverjack
 Make sure chambers are fully inflated
 Inflate from the bottom up
 Call Atlas Lift Coach for training and/or assistance ext.
