Welcome to our first game day! Today is a jamboree format. All of the
teams in each division will play each other in a short game. We will be
introducing the players to our rules and help them to get a feel for a
game day experience. Next week we will be playing games according to
the schedule that you should get today. We will also send the schedule
out as an e-mail attachment.
The players and cheerleaders should have received
a box with their jersey and some other items from Upward Sports. The
light color of the jersey will be the home team on the scoreboard. We
want to fix any uniform problems today. If a size is wrong, or whatever,
please let us know so that we can make the exchange and have the
correct equipment here for next Saturday.
On normal game days, at half time of each game we will have a very
short devotion time for everyone present. The concession stand will
closed during that brief time.
The proceeds from our concession stand all go to support the activities
of our basketball and cheerleading program. We hope that you will pay
it a visit for a snack or drink. Please put all trash in one of the barrels
located around the gym.
Practice: We encourage you to ensure that your child makes it to
practice each week. If there is a conflict on your normal day you are
welcome to attend on another night. We will post a schedule so you
can see when each age group is practicing.
If you have not been receiving our phone tree messages please check
at the concession stand so we can add your number.
