Encouraging your team
Here are some ways you can use your Participant
Centre to contact your team, and encourage them
1
Leave a message for your team members
As a Team Captain you can send a personalised message to your team members, which they will see when
they’re logged into their Participant Centre. Here’s how:
1. On the “Home” tab, look for the purple box in the
right-hand column titled “Message From Your Team
Captain”.
2. Click “Edit”
3. Enter your message and click “Save”.
Send a welcome email to new team members
Each time someone joins your team you will receive an
automated email. It’s a good idea to welcome your new
team members, and here’s how you can send them a
welcome email within your Participant Centre:
1. On the “Home” tab, scroll down to the “Recent
Activity” box at the bottom of the page.
2. If someone new has joined your team, it will show
in the left-hand column with the text “Recruit”.
3. Click on the blue “Send a welcome message” link.
4. You can also send emails to thank your supporters
from this screen.

test email to yourself if you would like to see the email layout.
Tip: Remember to save your work. If you are not active in your Participant Centre for more than 15 minutes the system will log you
out and you will lose your work.
