Instructions
• When taxiing back from a flight, turn the aircraft west to align with
the yellow tow stripe
• Move the drive pulley to the right to set the winch to the Unwind
position (if not already in that position)
• Pull the rope out and attach to the aircraft tail tie down ring
• Go back in the hanger and move the drive pulley to the left to
change the winch to the Tow Position. Take the remote control out
to the plane
• Push down on the remote control button to tow the plane back into
the hanger (it may take some time for the plane to start moving
until all the rope slack in the winch is taken up)
• Use the tow bar to steer the plane into the hanger
• Chock the main wheel tire(s)
• Move the drive pulley to the right to adjust the winch to the unwind
position to get slack in the rope and then remove the tow hook
from the aircraft tie down ring
