GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Written work must be done by the students. Marks and grades will be
awarded for the holiday’s homework.
2. Be good mannered at home and outside.
3. Do half a page of cursive writing daily to improve your speed and writing
(use a rough copy)
4. Read English story books to broaden your vocabulary.
5. Revise all the work done in the classroom.
6. Practice assignments in each subject must be done. Complete the
assignment and submit it along with the holidays’ homework according to
the date.
7. Do homework as it is directed and submit on the assigned date as given

 Do all the work in English notebook
Q.1. Books are not lifeless papers. They are the “light houses” erected in the great
sea of time. Read “Panchatantra stories” in English and write a paragraph about
the character that you like in the book. Give your reasons for it.
Q.2. You must read the newspaper daily. It will broaden your outlook and develop
your language skills. Find meanings of five words every week from the
newspapers and make sentences of these words.

Why should we not be cruel to animals? Write 5 lines about it. (in L.V. notebook)
COMPUTERS
Q.1. Make a collage on ‘INPUT and OUTPUT DEVICES’. Collect the pictures from
the magazines, newspapers on Internet with the help of your parents. (In Chart
Paper)
