Another ANB Futbol female player receives athletic award

Another ANB Futbol female player receives athletic award
ANB Futbol is proud to recognize another female player who received an athletic award to play for
her chosen university.
Giulia Zanardi recently accepted an athletic scholarship to play for Humber College and will be taking
classes that would facilitate the obtaining of a diploma first, before bridging into her program of
choice through University of Guelph-Humber. This will allow her to earn her university degree, while
playing soccer for Humber in the duration of her post-secondary education. She would be playing in
the college loop under Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA).

Giulia has been a part of ANB Futbol for over 3 years and has gained experience while representing
ANB on trips to the United States and England. A very attack oriented player, she can play as a
striker, attacking mid-fielder or on the wing.
Humber coaches came to ANB Futbol to watch her train & sign
her “Letter of Intent”. They are very happy with her university
selection & see her as an integral part of the team for the
upcoming season. ANB Academy Director, Bassam Naim, and
ANB Head Coach, Marcelo Almeida are very pleased to see
another female player moving on to the next level of futbol,
“Giulia is the 4th female player from the graduating class of
seven players who has accepted a university athletic award. We
expect more announcements in the near future as well. We are
proud of Giulia’s accomplishments since she has worked very
hard to achieve this & she truly represents what it means to be
an ANB Futbol athlete. We wish her only the best for her career
as a Humber Hawk!”
