Codiac Vikings Aquatic Club – Assistant Coaches (Part-Time)
Reporting to: The Head Coach
The Club
The Codiac Vikings Aquatic Club is a not-for-profit swim club providing professional swim instruction, training and
coaching for competitive swimmers of all ages. The operations of the club are overseen by a Volunteer Board of
Directors elected annually by the membership and is governed according to the club's By-Laws. The Club operates out
of Moncton, New Brunswick. We are a well-established team with 100 competitive swimmers. The Viking’s programs
have had many swimmers ranked at the Provincial and National levels.
The Position
The Codiac Vikings Aquatic Club is looking for dynamic, forward-looking individuals to assume several open assistant
coaching positions for the 2016-2017 season. The candidates will be working with our younger training groups under
the guidance of the CVAC Head Coach. Other administrative duties may be required at the discretion of the Head
Coach.
The Qualifications
Coach “CERTIFIED” (NCCP) or commitment to complete the Fundamentals Coach CERTIFICATION
within 2016-2017 season.
NLS qualified (with First Aid & CPR ‘C’)
Criminal record check
Good verbal and written communications skills, computer skills (Team Unify, Hy-Tek and MS Office) an asset
Previous coaching experience an asset.

Salary
Total Package includes hourly wage, per-diem and bonuses (commensurate with experience).
