Welcome Back:
We would like to welcome back all the learners and staff, we hope you had a fantastic
break and have returned to school well rested.
We welcome back to both Mrs. Sedgwick and Mrs. Beckmann, who have returned from
Maternity Leave.
We also welcome back Mrs. Barraball. Mrs. Barraball had a nasty
fell and sustained a serious knee injury and was off for the second
half of Term One.
School Photographs:
We have arranged for the school photographs to be taken on
12 April 2016. Once the photographs have been taken Prestige
Photographic Services will be sending an order form home with
the leaners where the different packages and additional items will
be listed with price, for you to choose from. Until then we would
like all our learners to start practicing their smiles.
Extra murals start:
Extra Murals are due to start on Monday,
11 April 2016. Please refer to the D6
Communicator for the Extra Mural Timetable
for more information.
PTA Autumn Raffle:
We are celebrating Autumn with a raffle for only R5-00 a ticket. You stand a chance to
win some wonderful household prizes.
Children who complete their forms prior to the deadline date - 6th May 2016, stand a
chance of winning a spot prize!
All forms and money must please be returned by 6th May and the draw will take place on
the 13th May 2016. Winners will be notified.
Admission Registration For 2017:
Grade R application forms will be available for
collection from Tuesday, 5 April 2016 and
submission will be from Monday, 11 April 2016.
Please submit ALL the required documentation in
order for the application to be processed.
Please Note:
Submitting an application form does NOT
automatically guarantee admission.
Grade 1-7 Registration: Grade 1-7 applications are to be done Online. Registration will
be from Monday, 11 April – Monday, 18 April. Please go to www.gdeadmissions.gov.za to
register your details. Log in details will be given, please keep these in a safe place.
Grade 1-7 Application: Please use your log-in details and password given to you upon
registration to apply for a school on 19th April. The learners details may be submitted
on the same web address from Tuesday, 19 April. Supporting documentation must be
submitted to the 3 schools within 2 weeks of the Application.
