What is Cyber-Seniors: Connecting Generations?
Building on the award-winning documentary “Cyber-Seniors” and the high school community
service project that inspired it, the Cyber-Seniors non-profit organization encourages tech savvy
youth to share their knowledge by mentoring older adults.
Why is this important?



Over 80M North American adults do NOT use technology in their day-to-day lives
Young people under the age of 25 grew up in a digital world and use technology in all
aspects of their lives
Eliminating the “Digital Divide” allows intergenerational relationships to thrive
We’re gaining momentum… to date

down barriers senior citizens face in adapting new technology by holding:
 Cyber-Seniors Community Screenings and Tech Labs held in high schools, colleges, senior
centers and theatres across the country.
 Free webinars on “How to Start a Cyber-Seniors Program” and “Youth Volunteer Training”,
“Online Safety” and “Best Practice Sharing”
