The “Make A Film Foundation” Hosts Red Carpet
Premiere of Deep Blue Breath

Saturday night saw the red carpet premiere of Deep Blue Breath, a film by Clay Beabout. The gala took place
at the Writer’s Guild Theater in Beverly Hills. VJ Quddus hosted the event, which featured a performance by
the winner of The Oprah Show’s national singing competition, Abe McDonald. In addition to writing the
film, Clay stars in it alongside Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings), Miguel Sandoval (Medium), and Ernie
Hudson (Oz, Ghostbusters). The film is about Clay’s struggle with a rare, life-threatening disorder called
V.A.T.E.R. Syndrome. The “Make a Film Foundation” helps children with serious or life-threatening
illnesses by pairing them up with film industry professionals to create short film legacies. For more
