MUNCH & MOVE WEBINARS Provide Professional Development for Your Staff at No Cost and with No Travel! Do you want to learn more about embedding healthier eating and effective physical activity practices into your Early Childhood Education and Care Service (ECEC)? Would your Long Day Care, Preschool or Occasional Care service like support meeting the National Quality Standard’s Standard 2.2 Healthy eating and physical activity are embedded in the program for children? If you answered ‘yes’ then the Munch & Move professional development is what your service needs! This excellent training is an unparalleled professional development opportunity for centre-based early childhood service staff. It’s delivered right on your doorstep and entirely free of charge. The Early Childhood Training and Resource Centre (ECTARC), a registered training organisation that specialises in early childhood training and professional development, will deliver the Munch & Move webinar series. The other great news is, once an educator has completed the Munch & Move webinar training, your service will have access to its own Local Health District Support Officer. Practical resources will also be provided to support the development and implementation of policies and practices promoting healthy eating, physical activity and limiting small screen time in your service. Priority to attend the Munch & Move webinar series will be offered firstly to NSW Long Day Care, Preschools and Occasional Care services that have not sent educators to previous Munch & Move training workshops. If additional places are available, services previously trained in Munch & Move may have the opportunity for a new educator to attend and provide further support for their service.
