YOU NEED TO BE HERE More than 3 absences will lower you final grade by one letter. Your grade will then be lowered by a partial letter grade for every absence there after. A valid letter from your doctor (stating the date of class missed) will be the only reason for excusing an absence. Three incidences of coming to class late, leaving early, not working during class time or not being prepared will equal one absence. 6 unexcused absences may result in you being asked to drop the class or receive a failing grade. If you are having a problem getting to class - for whatever reason - let me know! Keep me informed so I can help you! Students will be expected to: Turn off cell phones before entering classroom. Be in class and be on time Dress appropriately for class activities Follow instructions and complete assignments.
