My name is Dana Bambino and I have been working with Skyline Education for the
past three years teaching at AZ Compass Prep School in Chandler and now at Skyline
Prep High School in Phoenix. I am originally from Northern California which is where I
began my professional training. I have been dancing, competing and performing for
over 25 years in various styles including: Jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, contemporary,
tap, cheer, hip hop, professional ballroom and many more styles of dance. Dancing
has always been my passion and I am thankful to have the opportunity to share my
knowledge with others.
A few major accomplishments would include performing on cruise ships, competing
in major dance competitions throughout California, and cheerleading/dancing professionally for the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders from 2007-2009. I have had the
amazing opportunity to perform in two Super Bowls including: Super Bowl XLII when
it was held in Arizona and again in Super Bowl XLIII when the Cardinals made a part of
history playing against the Steelers in Tampa Bay, Florida.
I am excited to see what the school year brings and thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your students and help share the knowledge in performing
Doug Ballance holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts & Performance
from ASU West. He has a background in music, theatre arts, visual
art, and multimedia, and a decade of teaching experience. He's directed over a dozen plays, has been in several bands, and is proud to
be teaching for Skyline Education.
My name is Nikkia Wahl ,I was born and raised here in Phoenix , Az. I attended I.G. Conchos Elementary School and South Mountain High School. I have a
Bachelor Degree in Communications and Sociology from CSU. I’ve always been very passionate about dance my entire life. My major influences growing up
were Michael and Janet Jackson. I’ve had wonderful opportunities in my life to dance on a professional level. I started with family and friends entering in local
talent shows. My drive and talents took me to some amazing places in my life. Including music videos, live concerts, fashion shows, The Super Bowl, dancing
half time at both Suns and Mercury games MTv. As well as the 2007 BillBoard Hip Hop and R&B Music Awards. I’ve choreographed for and /or danced back
for several local and international Rap, Hip Hop, Pop and R& B artist. I’ve opened up live in concert for artist like Donell Jones, Monica, E-40, 50 cent, Chris
Brown , Kanye West, Usher, T.I and Kurtis Blow to name a few.
My goal, is to inspire all my students with even more passion, love and respect for the art that is dance. I want every child to light up the stage with dance
moves that will express the joy , happiness and love they have in their hearts and soul. It is my honor to share my love of dance with the children of the world.
