AUCKLAND FIJI COMMUNITY NETBALL U17 TEAM WINS
2015 FIJI NATIONAL SECONDARY SCHOOLS
TOURNAMENT
Auckland Fiji Community Netball is buzzing with the success of their U17 team in winning
the 2015 Fiji National Secondary Schools Tournament U17 section played in Lautoka, Fiji,
on 15th and 16th of August.
The team is the only invitational team to play in a tough two day tournament comprising of
the top netball schools from around Fiji. The Auckland Fiji Community Netball U17 team
comprises of girls from different secondary schools in Auckland and who have links to Fiji,
and 2 girls were selected from Fiji. The team was coached by Club President,Livi Hide.
The 2015 team was undefeated in the tournament and won their final against Natabua
High School. (In 2014, Natabua beat the Auckland Fiji in the semi-finals in sudden death by one
goal)
