The last faculty recital night and our plan for the last
concerts

The faculty have played
enough ­ it's time for the
students to carry the show!
The schedule of performers for Thursday at 2pm in Kilbourn Hall
is:
All voice students perform
All brass students will play in ensemble
All flutes play in ensemble
Mabel and Jacob perform Mozart
Emma Flanagan plays solo
Abby Jones plays solo
Sophie Li plays solo
Jahshanti Henry plays solo
The schedule of performers for Thursday at 7:30pm in Hatch Hall
is:
All jazz band members
All percussionists
All string players in ensembles
All brass in ensemble
Angelina and Damian play duos
Elizabeth GG plays solo
Johnny Shiller plays solo
Damian plays solo
These concerts are all free and open to the public, and you are all welcome to join us!
The students are very excited for this trip.
At this point in our camp experience, we are seeing tremendous growth in the young
players, and really starting to see them make the connections between our
Eurhythmics class, theory class, ensemble work and their practicing. We'll be
checking in with the students as we wrap up the last few days, asking about what they
enjoyed, what they would do differently, and ­ most importantly ­ what they are taking
away from this camp!

Monday will see our students doing more preparations for concert during the week ­
both here on campus and up at Eastman on Thursday. I'm excited that some students
are writing their own pieces for the final concert, some are learning things that are new
to thing, and some are polishing up in­progress works they brought with them to camp.
