2016 Louisiana Middle School Basketball Championship
Tournament Information

All games will be played at ULM Activity Center
210 Warhawk Way Monroe, LA 71209

Gate fee will $5.00 per person 12 and older and $5.00 per person 6-11.
5 and under free















3 coaches will be allowed in for free. All others will be required to pay the gate fee.
NO LHSAA Coaches, Umpire, or Referee cards will be accepted
NO OUTSIDE food and drink allowed per ULM’s policy
Water cooler will be provided at all courts.
All team are guaranteed at 2 games – teams winning will stay in the winner’s bracket, while
teams losing the 1st round game will fall to the consolation bracket.
Home team will be listed on top of bracket and will wear the white or light uniforms while visitor
teams will be listed on bottom and wear dark uniforms.
All teams must provide their own warm up balls however game balls will be provided.
Pre-game warmup will be 5 minutes & halftime will be 5 minutes, and OT (overtime) will be 2
minutes
All games will be four 5 minutes quarters in length.
Home team will keep the official book and seat at scorer’s table and a clock operator will be
provided.
All games will follow NFHS rules and will be played by Louisiana High School basketball rules
unless otherwise noted here
All games are final and protest will NOT be allowed once the game is completed. All judgement
calls by the officials will be NOT be reviewed nor will they be changed.
Any team forfeiting or dropping out of tournament before completion of tournament will result
in their team suspension for one year in that division.
Any coach or player that is ejected will be required to serve a one game suspension however
penalties can be altered at the discretion of the tournament director.
Spectators will be asked to leave the facility if their behavior becomes unruly toward a coach,
player, official or another spectator.
