The High Commission of India, Dhaka invites sealed bids for sale of three generators
by obtaining bids through Advertised Tender on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS”.
2.
A list of items to be disposed off is attached herewith. The list should be used as
bidding document.

Terms and Conditions:(i)
Bidders can inspect the items between 0930 hrs and 1730 hrs at the above
mentioned address on any working days from 24 May, 2017 to 06 June,
2017 in regard to the conditions, quality etc of the items and satisfy
themselves before submitting their bids by the date and time specified.
(ii)
Bids must be submitted for all the items as in the list attached herewith.
Amounts should be indicated against the respective space provided in the list.
Bids for any single item will summarily be rejected.
(iii)
Bid should be signed by the bidder himself/herself or a person duly authorized
on his/her behalf. A copy of such authority should be enclosed along with the
bid.
(iv)
Bids are not transferable.

(v)
All the items will be sold on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS”. The bidders will be
deemed to have satisfied themselves fully in regard to the conditions, quality
etc of the items to be disposed off.
(vi)
Bid should be addressed to the “Head of Chancery, High Commission of
India, 1-3 Park Road, Baridhara, Dhaka”. Bid must be submitted in sealed
envelope accompanied by Tk. 40, 000/- (Taka forty thousand only) towards
refundable Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) in “Cash”.
(vii)
Bids will be opened at 1100 hrs on 25 June, 2017 in the Conference
Room, High Commission of India, Dhaka. All the bidders should be
present at the time of opening of the bids. The successful bidder will have to
deposit the balance amount in one go within one week. In case, the successful
bidder fails to deposit payment on time, his/her EMD will be forfeited and the
goods will be offered to the 2nd highest bidder and so on.
(viii)
Payment should be made in the Accounts Section of the High Commission of
India, Dhaka and a money receipt should be taken. Without money receipt,
the bidders shall not be allowed to submit their bids or lift the items.
Payment shall be accepted in “Cash” only.
(ix)
The successful bidder will have to lift the items, at his own cost, risk and
arrangement, by 02 July, 2017 (by 1800 hrs) after making full payment
of the quoted price. The High Commission of India shall not be liable for any
discrepancy in the goods in any way after sale.
(x)
The EMD will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidder within fifteen days after
placement of the sale order to the successful bidder.
(xi)
No bid(s) shall be accepted after the prescribed date and time.
(xii)
The High Commission of India, Dhaka reserves the right to accept or reject any
or all the bid(s) without assigning any reason(s) at any stage.
