Q: How do I acquire points?
To receive Candlewood Reward Points, you must have a current Rewards Club Membership with Current Seasonal
Golf Cart Contract on file with the Golf Course. To acquire the points we will need your phone number to use as
your membership number (or if you have the legacy rewards card, we will still use that) along with photo
identification at the time of check in at the golf shop in order to receive points for your own greens fees/rentals.
Q: Can I acquire points by buying merchandise or food and beverage?
Candlewood Rewards points may not be earned for purchases of golf shop merchandise, or food and beverage
purchases.
Q: Can I acquire points when I purchase the Monday and Wednesday Golf/Lunch Special?
Yes.
Q: I paid for my guests round, why did I only get points for myself?
Candlewood Rewards is a program for individuals. As a member of Candlewood Rewards, you may only earn points
for your own greens fees, golf car rental, pull cart rental, or Monday/Wednesday golf special that you purchase for
yourself.
Q: You said Reserving and Checking In for a tee time will be easier. How so?
After you complete the application, you will be assigned a unique Rewards number (your phone number) and will
have access to scheduling tee times online. If you prefer to schedule over the phone, all you have to do is mention
your name or Rewards number and your information will automatically come up on our reservation screen. Upon
check in, or if you don’t have a reservation and walk in for a same day tee time, all you have to do is present your
phone number (rewards card) identification, form of payment, and that’s it! Your golf cart/course use agreement,
and player information is stored safely in our program. No need to fill out paperwork at the check in desk.
Q: So I have to give you my email, phone number, and all of my personal information. Why do you need it? Is
it stored safely? Are you going to be filling my inbox with a bunch of junk?
We ask of this information so that we may contact you in case of emergency, or for unforeseen changes in course
conditions. Your information is stored safely online through EZLinks (our software/tee sheet company), neither
EZLinks nor Candlewood Valley Country Club will sell your information. Candlewood will from time to time, send
information about your Rewards Program Account and any in season or out of season specials. But we won’t fill
your email inbox with junk mail every day or every week for that matter!
Q: What to the points go towards again?
For every dollar you spend on greens fees, golf car rental, golf club rental, pull cart rental, or Monday/Wednesday
Special; you will earn one point. This is a cumulative point rewards system. When you reach the 750 point level you
will receive one round of 18 holes of golf with a golf car. When you reach the 2000 point level you will receive one
round of 18 holes of golf with golf car for 2 persons (you and a guest). When you reach the 5000 point level you will
receive one round of 18 holes of golf with 2 golf cars for 4 persons (you and 3 guests). The rewards are to be used
as stated, there will be no deviation from the rewards presented.

Q: When do the rewards points expire?
The rewards points do not expire. After a period of 2 years of account inactivity, the account may be subject to
cancellation. Once the rewards point threshold of 750 is reached and redeemed, your account rolls back to zero (0)
and you begin to accumulate points again.
Q: How can I receive reward points for a visit that did not get registered to my Candlewood Rewards
Account?
If points are missing from your account, you may submit a copy of your receipts by fax or by mail within 10 days of
the original purchase. Please allow up to 14 business days to process your request.
Q: I just signed up for the rewards program today, but I golfed yesterday. Can I get rewards for yesterdays
play?
Rewards points are only accumulated after you have completed the registration form. We are unable to credit your
account on a date prior to your registration.
Q: I am in a golf outing/tournament, can I receive Rewards Points for being a participant?

yourself.
Q: Do I get rewards points for buying a gift card?
Candlewood Rewards Points are not awarded for Gift Card Purchases or Speed Pass Purchases. Rewards points are
earned through the actual purchase of your own greens fees, golf car rental, pull cart rental, or Monday/Wednesday
golf special that you purchase for yourself. If you have been gifted a gift card, you may redeem it each time to pay
for your own greens fees, golf car rental, pull cart rental, or Monday/Wednesday golf special that you purchase for
yourself, and at the time of gift card redemption the appropriate amount you have paid with the gift card will be
credited to your Candlewood Rewards Points card.
Q: How do I know that I have reached a reward level?
The bottom of your receipt from the golf shop will show you what reward level you have received.
Q: How can I check the balance of my rewards card?
You may ask any one of our pro shop staff to look it up for you!
Q: It is raining and I/we don’t want to continue our round, can I get a rain check?
Rain checks will not be issued for Rewards Play, so please plan accordingly.
