High School Redesign Grant: The school is being separated into three
academic academies: 9th Grade Academy, BET (Business,
Entrepreneurship, and Technology), and Triple H (Health Sciences,
Human Services, and Hospitality)
Extended Day: Additional hour of instruction at the end of the school day.
Dual Enrollment: opportunity for students to earn college credits while
still in high school
Work-based Learning: Provided by High School Redesign Grant;
students will be given the opportunity to incorporate classroom learning in
an authentic setting by working/volunteering in fields connected to
vocational paths
Learning Centers: Provided by High School Redesign Grant: each class
will receive instructional materials and supplies for four centers related to
their content
Classroom Libraries: Provided by High School Redesign Grant: each
