Rules and Regulation
1. All the Fide rules will be applicable.
2. Chief arbiter’s decision will be final in case of any dispute.
3. Time Control : 25 mins + 5 sec from first move for digital clocks /
30 mins each for analog clocks.
4. Tie-Breakers : Median Buchholz, Buchholz, Sonneborn-Berger
5. Rounds
: Number of round would be 3 to 7 depending on the entries received

One male player and one female player makes a team.
Pairing will be in the name of female, as it is a special event.
Average rating of the players will be considered as the rating of the team.
Players in the team are not allowed to discuss, point out a move nor are they
allowed to speak between themselves during the round.
Name of the Captain should be entered in the entry form itself.
Captain will decide whether to offer a draw or claim a draw or to resign/accept
draw
Captain of the team will decide, that who will make the first move .
A player of the team has to make alternate moves. If pair do not follow this, third
time it will be declared as lost.
Third illegal move would be declared lost.
Clock : After making a move the player making that move should only press the
clock.
For age group trophies : both players in the team should be under same age
group. (Please note that the average age will not be considered.)
For unrated prizes : both players in the team should be unrated.
For rating prizes : average rating would be considered of the team.
Amateur Group :
This group is mainly for unrated players. However, considering the enthusiasm among the
players only one rated player below ELO rating 1400 would be allowed in a team.
