SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Unless otherwise indicated, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PROGRAMS. For programs at the Main Library or North Branch, registration
opens for residents of Clinton or Macomb Township at 9:00 a.m. two weeks before the program date. Registration for non-residents opens one
week before the program date. For programs at the South Branch, residents and non-residents can register two weeks prior to the program. To
register for a program, call or visit one of our locations or go to the What’s Happening page at www.cmpl.org. Choose the branch and click on the
program name. A valid library card is required to register. Space is limited so register early! Age guidelines are observed.
Winter Reading Club: Children in grades K-5 can pick up a form at any CMPL location starting February 1. Complete five activities, bring the
form back to the library and choose a prize from our treasure chest! Participate as many times as you wish through March 26! At the end of
the program, a name will be drawn and someone will win a prize. Children ages birth through five can participate in BINGO for Little Kids
where they can earn a prize.
STORY TIME
February 29 to March 31. Registration is required and begins on February 15 for residents and February 22 for nonresidents.
Music & Movement-Tuesdays at 10 or 11 a.m. (2-4 years)
Tot Time-Wednesdays at 9:15 or 11:15 a.m. (12 to 24 months)
Preschool Story Time-Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. (3 to 6 years)
Baby Time-Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. (0 to 11 months)
Little Listeners-Thursdays at 10:30 or 11:15 a.m. (2 to 3 years)

Paws for Reading: Children can practice their reading skills by reading to specially trained dogs at the library. Reading is on a first-come,
first-served basis. Registration is not required. Dogs will be ready to listen at the: North Branch on March 1 at 6:30 p.m.
Pop-In Play Time: Special toys are available for children ages 0-24 months and their caregivers to play with in the meeting room at
the North Branch on Friday, March 4 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Registration is not required.
