Choose to make an IMPACT with your team.

The ONE TEAM award began in 2014 as
a way to recognize the top member
school that goes the extra mile when it
comes to having an impact within their
school and/or local community.

The goal of the ONE TEAM award is to
have students working together to connect with their school and/or local community and give back by displaying
active citizenship, all while
simultaneously helping others.

Schools can have 1 or more teams completing a service project together. IESA
encourages collaboration amongst
teams and students within your school!

Schools applying must participate in the
IESA state series or state competition for
each of the teams listed on the
application. For example, if both your
volleyball team and bowling team
complete a service project together, your
school must be participating in the state
series for both volleyball and bowling to
be eligible for the award.

The ONE TEAM winner will be
announced by the end of the school year
and will be presented with a $500 check
to the school, the One Team plaque, and
a video of the award presentation.

For consideration, application and materials for the 2016-17 school year must be
emailed to [email protected] by Friday,
April 7, 2017.

IESA One Team Award Application
The award is designed to recognize the generosity and selflessness that is
commonly on display by so many IESA member school teams. Young athletes
choosing to come together, as one, for a greater goal of giving back off of the playing
field is the foundation of the award. Whether those efforts are done within their
school or within the community, the One Team award program is intended to
highlight and reward model citizenship.
