What’s DRIVING the increases?
As we have moved out of recession a variety of economic trends have come together
to increase the level of commercial traffic in our city centres.
Large scale commercial and residential infrastructure projects have increased traffic
while expanding leisure and retail complexes require more frequent deliveries.
Finding the SOLUTION to the problem
In response, local authorities, businesses and local residents are focusing on
keeping the environment cleaner, safer and quieter. Road transport companies and
their suppliers of products and services have a key role to play in finding solutions.
Focusing on the issues
Road Transport Media’s Freight in the City initiative draws together all the key
audiences to debate the issues and identify the solutions.
Road Transport Media (RTM) has been covering and
championing the issues editorially as debate and new
issues have grown around the topic of urban logistics.
