Looking for an exciting term-time job with Electronic Arts
whilst you are at University? Love gaming and want to make
money whilst gaining experience working with a global
brand?
If you are a student at one of the below Universities, love gaming and University life then read
on to find out how you can become the student representative for EA at your University. You
will be working for the Circle Agency, the experiential marketing agency of EA and we are
looking to find a student at each of the following Universities:
University of West England, Bristol
University of Nottingham
Coventry University
University of Portsmouth
University of Sussex
University of Hertfordshire
Beginning with the launch of FIFA 13 on the 28th September EA are going to be installing
purpose built gaming stations at six select Universities in order to run a University gaming
challenge. Throughout the year different EA titles will be shown with different challenges for
each, and a student representative is required from each University to help look after the
unit, promote the challenges to students and run a weekly gaming event during term time.
What the job involves:




Working with the University and the team here to make sure the gaming station at
your University is kept in working order.
Using your contacts at clubs, societies, the SU etc. to promote the challenges to the
student body.
Using your own social media channels to promote to your friends and spread the word
about the EA activity happening at your University.
Providing reports back to us on how the activity is going and make suggestions for how
things could be improved.
What you need:




A good knowledge of gaming, setting up consoles, troubleshooting problems and
setting up online gaming.
In your second or third year of University with a wealth of contacts built up that you
can call upon to promote the activity to and get them to spread the word.
Be an avid user of social media sites, particularly Facebook and Twitter and be able to
use them to help promote events.
Confidence to be able to successfully promote the event to students and the creativity
to come up with new ways to keep your communication interesting and relevant.
