GYMHAWKS GAZETTE October/November 2012 Meet the GymHawks Coaching Staff! Welcome Back! Welcome back GymHawks! And a very special Vicky Hammond welcome to all of our new GymHawks this session! We Vicky is a junior here at UW-Whitewater from Oswego, are so excited to have you all! We hope that you all IL. She has a passion for gymnastics and is majoring in are excited for the new school year, and looking Elementary Education. She has been coaching for 3 forward to some great gymnastics this session! Danielle Turner Level 4 Stephanie Hiebert and level 6 Amanda Kubly have begun competition season. All of their hard work has paid off and they are doing FANTASTIC! At their last competition Stephanie stuck all 4 routines and placed 9th in the all-around! Amanda had a great meet Danielle, or DT is a freshman on the Warhawk Gymnastics Team. She came to UWW from Bolingbrook, IL. She has been coaching for 6 years and her favorite event is floor. DT’s favorite thing about coaching is “seeing the kids progress and have fun.” as well placing 2nd on vault with her highest score of the season (9.3). She also placed 2nd in the all around! Cici Talcott Great job Gymhawks! We are so proud of you! Cici is a sophomore on the Warhawk Gymnastics Team. She came to UWW from Kentwood, MI and competes vault, bars, and floor for the Hawks. Cici received AllAmerican honors on vault in 2012. Her favorite part of coaching is “watching kids learn and seeing them happy.” Morgan Hadley Morgan, aka Mo is a senior on the Warhawk Gymnastics Team. She has been coaching for the GymHawks since last spring. Morgan came to UWW from LaGrange, IL and competes Vault, Beam and Bars for the Hawks. This is her first time coaching for the Gymhawks, however she has been coaching for 5 years. She came to UWW from Kingsport, TN and competes all 4 events for the Hawks. Kt was a 3 time All-American in 2012. Her favorite thing about coaching is “watching the girls improve and build friendships with their teammates.” Siri Wischmann Left: Gymnast of the month Olivia Zuehlke poses for a picture on her favorite event! Siri is a senior on the Warhawk Gymnastics Team. She has been coaching for 6 years and is known for her silly personality. Siri came to UWW from Delano, MN and competes Vault, Beam, and Floor for the Hawks. Siri was a 2 time All-American in 2012. She practices twice a week, Allison is the director of the GymHawks program. She and works incredibly hard at everything she does! Olivia was a member of the Warhawk Gymnastics team from jumped straight to Advanced Beginner from our 2005-2010, and has since been working as an Kindergym class! Way to go, Olivia! Assistant coach for UWW. Allison has nearly 10 years Age: 5 of coaching experience.
