Course Objective:
To provide the participants with the necessary
knowledge and skills to operate vertical mast lifts
in a safe and competent manner in line with the
workplace requirements under duty of care.
Course Outcome:
On successful completion students will be issued
a photo licence Yellow Card for Vertical Mast Lift
Only by the EWPAA of Australia.
Course Content:
 Plan and prepare work for EWP operation
 Hazard management
 Set up and operate EWP
 Emergency procedures
 Shut down and clean up
Course Prerequisites:
 Ability to use and understand basic English
Assessment:
Assessment carried out to National Licencing
Standard
 Theory Assessment
 Practical Demonstration & Assessment
Student Must:
 Wear fully enclosed steel cap footwear, hi viz
shirt and long pants/trousers
 Photo Identification is Mandatory for
certification courses i.e. Australian Drivers
Licence, Passport or Proof of Age card. ID
must contain photo, signature and date of
birth
