Rhyming Words
Print pages 3-5. You may want to print two copies of pages 4-5 or simply have the students reshuffle the cards when they
reach the bottom of the draw pile.
Gather small place markers for each player.
Rhyming Words
For 2-4 Players
Instructions:
Place your marker on the “Start”. Place cards upside down on the “Card Draw Pile”.
Choose a player to go first.
The player will draw the top card from the pile then move to the next matching space with a
rhyming word. Play continues to the next player.
If a player lands on a space with an arrow, he will follow the arrows to the new space.
If a “Star” card is drawn the player will head to the closest “Star” space, even if it is behind him.
To win by landing on the last space, a player MUST draw a card that would be shows a word
that rhymes with “pad”.
